Hi, I’m Luis

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and life has taken me on a pretty incredible journey—from the military to coaching, mentoring, photography, and old college student. My path has been anything but straight, but every step has shaped who I am today.

My Military Journey

I spent 20 years serving in the military, first in the U.S. Army for six years, then in the Coast Guard, where I retired as a Chief Petty Officer. In the Army, I had the honor of serving with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), 1/6 Cavalry in Korea, and the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment in Baghdad, Iraq. Along the way, I picked up some life-changing experiences along with some badges and medals.

After my time in the Army, I made the switch to the Coast Guard, serving in San Francisco and Miami. The transition wasn’t always easy, but I learned a lot about leadership, adaptability, and helping people succeed—which eventually led me to what I do now.

Leadership, Coaching, and Helping Others Grow

After retiring from the military, I took everything I learned about leadership, training, and team development and applied it to the civilian world. I’ve worked in roles like Field Service Manager, Consultant, and Media Director, where I helped teams work more efficiently, grow in their careers, and improve performance.

But my real passion is helping people navigate life with clarity and purpose. That’s why I created the Fulfillment Compass Framework—a way to help people get unstuck by combining Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, SMART goals, and mindset shifts. It’s all about making real, practical changes that actually lead to progress.

Family, Faith, and Mentoring

Outside of coaching and leadership, my faith is a huge part of my life. I spend time mentoring high school boys at my church, helping them grow into godly men. I also lead and attend Bible studies and retreats and even create Christian content on Instagram—some of it serious, some of it funny, because I think faith should be engaging and relatable.

I’m also a published photographer and author, and I love telling stories through images and words. I’m married to Dr. Aracelly Latino-Feliz, and we have a daughter, Sophia, plus a very confused dog who answers to Wilson or Obi, depending on who’s calling him.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: help people grow, lead, and find fulfillment—whether in their career, faith, or personal life.

If any of that resonates with you, I’d love to connect!
